Birthday Cards for activists, lefties, liberals and radicals. Apoplectic Press birthday cards feature bizarre and creepy collage illustrations and unique adjective-saturated political-rants. They are festive in the way that a cactus might make a nice Christmas tree but they certainly make a great inside joke among social misfits. They are wordy, ironic, hyperbolic and darkly humorous. For the time being, the anti-cards are still home-made and printed on recycled 80 lb. sandstone card stock and come with recycled A7 mushroom envelopes but they will eventually move over to the Apoplectic/Cafe Press site with everything else. They measure 5 X 7 inches and sell for only $2.50 each. For the time being, the cards are sold from this website only. The entire collection including the very rare original series of cards will be available in book form later this year. A free set of 4 postcards is included with every purchase of 6 cards.
